History

"Kyiv" cinema was opened November 23, 1952 on the Chervonoarmiyska Street. The process of construction had been started before the Second World War.

General reconstruction of the building took place in 2000. It was for the first time in fifty years.

The architectural style of the cinema was kept during the reconstruction. Classic architecture of Stalin era coupled with modern repertoire and advanced technique create the inimitable aesthetic impression.
