Each year The Board of Directors forms an international jury, which works according to the regulations for an international film festival (Regulations for International Film Festivals by FIAPF) and the rules and regulations of IFF "Molodist".
|
The International Jury considers only films in the Competition program and awards the festival's main prizes:
- Grand Prix for the best competition film (10 000 USD and the statuette «The Scythian Deer»)
- prize for the best feature film (a monetary award or material prize of 2 500 USD)
- prize for the best short (fiction, animation, documentary) film (a monetary award or material prize of 2 500 USD)
- prize for the best student (fiction, animation, documentary) film (a monetary award or material prize of 2 500 USD)
- prize for best performances by a young actor (1 000 EUR)
- festival diplomas
The jury is made up of five members who are selected by the festival’s Board of Directors. These members are a mixture of famous film professionals: directors, actors and producers, as well as representatives of other festivals and the film industry. Members of the jury are selected on the proviso that they are in no way involved in the production or distribution of any film in the Competition section.
