Isabel Sandoval is a US-based Filipino filmmaker who has written and directed three features. Her debut, SEÑORITA, competed at the 2011 Locarno Film Festival. Her follow-up, APPARITION, is widely considered a modern Philippine classic and regularly programmed in retrospectives of Philippine cinema alongside works by Lav Diaz and Brillante Mendoza.
