Two siblings live in the industrial town of Elefsina. A bridge connects their neighborhood, inhabited mostly by Black-Sea Greeks, to an area inhabited by immigrants of varied backgrounds. Social divisions give rise to hostility, reflected in the local sports scene and the two siblings’ relationships.

Evi Kalogiropoulou

Evi Kalogiropoulou is a visual artist and filmmaker working both in Athens and London. Evi studied in Athens School of Fine Arts and holds a Master's in Moving Image from the Royal College of Art. She accomplished a film commissioned by the Onassis Foundation for the ENTER online exhibition and a film commissioned by PCAI for their film collection. Her film NEIGHBOURS was screened in the Whitechapel Gallery and at the BFI.
