I rent a very small room in Berlin (which reminds me of a coffin) and have very strange dreams there. People are held in suspense for two years without knowing when it will all be over. The club is closed, the ambulance won’t come and everything that’s left to do is just walking around the city at night with your inner monsters.

Polina Piddubna

Polina Piddubna is a Ukrainian multidisciplinary artist now living in Berlin. From 2017 to 2019 she studied animation directing at Kyiv National Karpenko-Karyi University and since 2019 Polina is enrolled in the animation faculty of Filmuniversity Babelsberg Konrad Wolf in Potsdam. In addition to filmmaking, she is involved in various social and educational projects, and also does artistic research on decolonial topics.
