Italian Short Film Days
On December 21, the film industry celebrates International Short Film Day - and we are no exception. We invite you to the Italian Short Film Days - screenings of 6 short films with an "Italian" soul.
December 21-23. 19:00. Cinema "Zhovten".
Summer. Florence. Fashion Week. Two electricians set up lighting to show the famous brand and travel around the city in their van from morning till dusk.
The vortex of memories lingers father and son. Two different childhoods that passed in the same place, but in distant epochs. The two worlds, united by long journeys in time and space, try to dispel the fog of disturbing shadows.
Robert and Donato, a 9-year-old girl and her father, are separated by an abyss that seems endless. Hence, in reality, Donato is much more vulnerable than he seems - and this discovery makes valuable time spent together in the last days of summer.
A romantic and dreamy guy named Luke works in a photo studio and meets Camila, who leaves him one day. The guy moves to the studio and falls in love with the girl from the picture in the film № 14.
The young couple is going to a party. Emilia lingers with her outfit, and Pietro quarrels with his tie, excited by a speech he doesn't know how to approach. The two begin to talk, moving from room to room - from one stage of life to another.
Films of a film that has never been shown, Jiaozi, are found in an old and now abandoned cinema in Taiwan. The plot tells the story of a woman's revenge in accordance with the requirements of a time when patience and calm were the only way to survive the long struggle.
All films are screened in the original with subtitles.
The event is organized in cooperation with the Embassy of the Italian Republic in Kyiv, the Italian Institute of Culture in Ukraine and the Italian Short Film Center.
