Molodist-51 postponed indefinitely due to Russia’s war against Ukraine
Because of Russia's war against Ukraine, Kyiv IFF Molodist has no choice but to postpone its 51st edition, earlier planned for May 28 - June 5, 2022, indefinitely.
As Kyiv is under siege, and a lot of Ukrainian territory is attacked by russian troops, with shelling of civilians, reports of war crimes and signs of genocide against Ukrainians, all of us are fighting this war on many fronts, because this is a war for our survival, and we need to defeat the shameless colonialist aggression that's aimed not only at Ukraine's destruction but also at changing the world order. It is impossible for us to plan anything now, but we are confident in Ukraine's victory and return to peace in our country, where various cultural initiatives and freedom of expression, which Molodist has been celebrating for 50 years, will continue to thrive, and we'll be able to meet in peaceful Kyiv later this year.
Anyone can withdraw their submission, though in a time when all our nation's efforts and resources are directed toward our shared victory, your submission fee is valuable for the support of our team.
We urge you, wherever you are, to support Ukraine any way you can. Learn more about Ukrainian culture, lend a helping hand to a Ukrainian you know, donate to our army or humanitarian organizations, urge your government to act, check and spread information from reliable news sources to counter russian propaganda and information war, boycott anything russian.
You have a chance to be the warrior for our better common future.
And we'll keep you updated once we have more news.
Until then, stay safe and healthy!
