Sunny Bunny becomes Ukraine’s first LGBTQIA+ film festival

Sunny Bunny os Kyiv IFF Molodist’s LGBTQIA+ program that has been part of the festival since 2001 and stands for the values of human rights, understanding, and diversity. Molodist was the second after Berlinale among big international film festivals to introduce a special award for LGBTQIA+ films and create a special program for them.

Over two decades later, the time has come for Sunny Bunny to expand. Now it becomes a queer film festival on its own, and the first one in Ukraine. It will take place in Kyiv on June 22-28, 2023. We understand the value of human rights and equality - especially in wartime.
