The documentary Doppelganger tells the story of the transformation of the outstanding Ukrainian actor Oleksii Bogdanovych into a course master at the theatre institute. The war, which destroyed the illusion of the superiority of art, provoked the actor to a total reassessment of values and made him think about the true meaning of life. What are art and culture? And what is their true role if they do not influence the mentality of those who brought evil and death to our country? What the fame, rewards and success will be like when you get off the pedestal?

Maksym Tuzov

Maksym Tuzov is a Ukrainian filmmaker, screenwriter and military journalist. In 2021, he directed his graduation film THE RIGHTEOUS ONE, which won many awards, including the Cannes Film Awards and the LA Student Film Awards.

In 2022, he began collaborating with Oleh Kokhan (SOTA Cinema Group) that resulted in the short

RABBIT OR THERE AND BACK AGAIN, which was included in the anthology War Through the Eyes of Animals. The collaboration continued with the documentaries DOPPELGANGER, CALL SIGN "ARTIST"..

In 2022, he made documentaries THE GOSPEL POST 24.02, THE ECCLESIA OF SALTIVKA, and HERE I AM about the organization "On The Shield". In 2024, he made the documentary VINCENT. The same year he became a member of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
