Two estranged half-sisters, long at odds, embark on a journey to Ukraine to rescue their gravely injured father. They are confronted with a world of war, bombed-out homes, and charred tanks. Their journey takes them by car, then by train, and eventually on foot. Near Kharkiv, they unknowingly cross the front line and find themselves in a region occupied by Russian forces. Will they be able to find their father? Is there room for forgiveness and love in a world torn apart by war? What will this journey bring?

Łukasz Karwowski

Screenwriter, director and producer. He studied Directing and graduated from the Film and Television Direction Department of the Łódź Film School under the supervision of Wojciech Jerzy Has. He also studied at the Directing Department of the National Film and Television School, the UK. He completed a film directing masterclass held by Istvan Szabo in Belgrade. Apart from feature films, he also directed over three hundred TV commercials. He runs his producing company Zoom Media.
