Mira Fornay

Mira Fornay, born 8 May 1977, is a Slovak film director and screenwriter. attended the film school at the Academy Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague and the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, UK, earning her diploma in 2004 with a very low-budget exercise entitled ALZBETA. FOXES (2009), her feature film debut, premiered at the Venice Film Festival. Her film, MY DOG KILLER, won the main award at the 2013 International Film Festival Rotterdam.
