The transition no longer seems like a simple walk to him; the day is coming to an end, but a new life still does not begin.

Oleksii Novikov

Born in Kyiv and graduated with a degree in "international law" from the Kyiv University of International Relations. Until 2014, he built his career in advertising, starting as a copywriter and eventually becoming a creative director, co-owner of an advertising agency. Since the beginning of the russian-Ukrainian war, he has been working with the " Come Back Alive" foundation as a creative director. In 2019, he started working on the feature film "Grandson" with the financial support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. In 2021, he directed "Optics," a short spin-off of "Grandson."
