Jagath Manuwarna Kodithuwakku is a Sri Lankan actor, scriptwriter, media presenter, movie director, and a politician. He was born in the year 1980 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. He completed his graduation from Delthota Central College, Kandy. He studied drama at the Tower Hall Drama School, Colombo. He debuted as an actor in the 2010 adult drama film KARMA, directed by Prasanna Jayakodi. His first short film as a director called SPECK OF FIRE, was released in 2006. The film went on to win Best Short Film at the Guerilla Short Film Festival in Sri Lanka. His first feature-length film, WHISPERING MOUNTAINS has been screened on the IFFR 2023.
