Kateryna Omelianenko

Kateryna Omelianenko was born in 2003 in Kyiv. Since early childhood she showed interest in cartoons and comics. Kateryna enrolled in Kyiv National Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University in 2020. Since then she started making short animation films with unusual and amorphous characters. She worked on a short animation project “The City”, on request of the Kyiv National Museum of Taras Schevchenko, and also participated in an animation music video “A Cherry Orchard Near The House”, based on Taras Schevchenko’s poem. The video was screened at many international film festivals.

THE BUS STOP is Kateryna’s coursework.
