MARIUPOL. ONE HUNDRED NIGHTS is the story of a girl who wakes up from explosions in a burning city. To save herself, she needs to go through the destroyed streets to meet the unknown. As an elderly woman, she comes back to the Ukrainian city Mariupol and remembers everything.

Sofia Melnyk

Sofia Melnyk is a Ukrainian illustrator and animator. She illustrated several books and music albums, created illustrations for magazines and newspapers. Her animation projects are documentary in nature. After the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Sofia explores this topic in her works, takes an active part in projects that explain Ukraine to foreigners and promote Ukrainian art.
