Visegrad cinema days-2020

«Visegrád cinema days» festival will be held for the second time in the Zhovten Cinema on October 8-11.

This year's program consists of 11 film from countries of Visegrád Group – Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia. The directors will present films in Q&A format. One can find any kind of films in the program – music biopics («Icarus») or historical dramas («Zieja»).

There will be an online round table on the topic of «Co-production of Ukrainian content with countries of Visegrád Group» with representatives of cultural institutions from participant countries, the exhibition «Czech women in cinema» by Czech Center in Kyiv and a number of online workshops as a part of the «Visegrád cinema days».

Visegrád Cinema Days is the week of screenings of modern films from around the Visegrád Group region – the alliance of the four Central European states: Poland, Czechia, Hungary, and Slovakia.

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrád Grants from International Visegrád Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe. To achieve this goal 'Molodist' KIFF organizes Visegrád cinema days in Kyiv and screens the films from Visegrád Group countries The film collection of the festival is made with the support from the Polish Film Institute, Slovak Film Institute, Czech Film Center, and the Hungarian National Film Fund
