Leva, a kind-hearted young poet, lives and works at a construction site on the outskirts of a Ukrainian city. He dreams of moving to the city where he wants to enroll in a university. Leva starts experiencing feelings towards one of his workmates, Gosha, but keeps it to himself. It all changes when he starts to think that the affection might be mutual. During a night out at a roadside bar, Leva decides to open up to Gosha.

Nikita Zarkh was born in Odesa, Ukraine. In 2012 he moved to New York in pursuit of a lifelong dream of becoming a filmmaker. Nikita enrolled in the School of Visual Arts, where he studied directing, graduating from SVA in 2017 with a thesis film ON THE SURFACE OF THE HOLE.

Nikita’s scripts were officially selected by numerous screenplay competitions. SPARROW, a short film, which Nikita wrote and co-directed, was officially selected by several film festivals.
