As a kid, we had a ritual at home. Every weekend, my dad used to get three VCDs of the latest movies for us to watch — one film every day between Friday and Sunday. Life has always been about stories, and I've been trying to learn how to get better and better at telling them.

The first time I got on stage was at 13, and by the time I was 15, I started writing, directing, and acting in plays for my school drama team.

Landed my first film job at 19 with a well-known filmmaker from India, Abhishek Kapoor and since then I’ve always been working in films.
