A young couple is spending one of their last nights together. Their relationship is almost over. They try to talk, but the communication breaks down. Everything they are left with is emptiness. In the middle of the night someone knocks on their door. Again, and again. When they come to the door, there’s no-one there. But the knocking continues.

Stanislav Bytiutskyi

Stanislav Bytiutskyi was born in Kyiv. He is the curator of the Kyiv Critics’ Week festival and the Head of Scientific and Program Department at the National Dovzhenko Centre. As a director, he debuted in 2014 with the documentary GOODBYE, CINEPHILES. He won the Kyiv International Short Film Festival in 2017 for his short 24, and received the Kinokolo award for Best Short Film in 2020 for his short INTOLERANCE.
