Diego Céspedes is a Chilean filmmaker. Born in 1995, he wrote and directed his first short, "The Summer of the Electric Lion" in 2018, which won the Cinéfondation First Prize at Cannes Film Festival and the Nest First Prize at San Sebastian Film Festival. His first short film produced with Les Valseurs, “The melting creatures”, had its premiere at Cannes’ Semaine de la critique in 2022.
